Vacation is holy.

These terms exist to protect that. They govern the relationship between Tommy Coconut Private Resorts and every person who applies, books, and walks through the blue fence in Jan Thiel, Curaçao. Read them once.

1. What We Are

Tommy Coconut Private Resorts is a Private Resort. Not a hotel. Not a rental. The Dushi Week is one product: seven nights, eight estates, one family running everything from the airport pickup to the boat trip to the rum.

These terms apply to that product and everything within it. We operate under the laws of Curaçao, Kingdom of the Netherlands.

2. Building and confirming your week

Answer a few short questions, then book a five-minute Zoom with Boy. You talk about your people, occasion and the week you envision. If it fits, the family spends about two days personally building your Dushi Week and its website. A second Zoom of five to ten minutes gives you the keys. Prefer to design first? Complete the full questionnaire and book your reveal directly.

Your personal week sets out the estate, dates, inclusions and price. After your courtesy hold, your booking is confirmed by the first payment for your chosen payment option below.

3. Payment choices

All prices are in U.S. dollars.

Easy Path: confirm your booking with the first monthly payment. The full-week price is divided into equal monthly payments, with the final payment due one month before arrival. Payments can be split between couples, partners or different credit cards. The schedule follows your booking lead time.
Classic 50/50: confirm your booking by paying 50% now. The remaining 50% is due one month before arrival.
All-In: confirm your booking by paying the full amount. An appropriate surprise bonus comes with it.

All-In is a payment choice. All Inclusive is a Dushi Week.

4. The Day Three Promise

If you are dissatisfied, tell the family by day three of your stay. We will refund the full amount you paid to Tommy Coconut for your week by wire transfer, and Jeremiah will take you back to the airport.

5. Date changes, cancellations and refunds

You can change your dates free of charge at least 60 days before arrival. Outside this date-change option, amounts already paid are non-refundable, except where the Day Three Promise applies.

We recommend travel insurance.

6. What is included

Choose Dushi Week Easy, Dushi Week All Inclusive or Dushi Week Royale. Your individual week states the estate, dates and inclusions.

Easy includes your private estate for seven nights, airport transfers with Jeremiah, a new EV-SUV, every dinner, the private boat trip and the Dushi Memories. Five dinners are at local hot spots; the other two are the BBQ aboard Captain Magic Mike’s boat and the Sunset Club Beach BBQ. Water, electricity, cleaning and taxes are included.

All Inclusive adds every breakfast and lunch, the estate open bar, a daily estate reset and a standby driver in Jan Thiel.

Royale starts at $75,000; one or two are created each year. Its inclusions are agreed personally.

Flights, travel insurance, personal purchases and agreed optional extras are separate. On Easy, groceries are at receipt cost; breakfast, lunch and drinks are your own.

If something is unclear, ask the family before booking.

7. Guest Responsibilities

Our estates are private homes. They are treated as such.

You are responsible for your party — their conduct and any damage to the villa during your stay. Damage beyond normal wear will be documented and invoiced. We are fair. We are not forgiving of carelessness.

A few hard rules:

Occupancy: Each estate has a stated maximum. It is not a starting point for negotiation. Exceeding it ends the reservation.

Prohibited: Illegal activity on the premises. Weapons. Unauthorized commercial photography or filming.

Pets: By prior arrangement only. Contact us before you book, not when you arrive.

Events: Private celebrations are welcome with advance notice. Guest counts beyond the booked party require written approval.

8. What We Are Responsible For

We have hosted 700+ guests. The 4.99-star average exists because this family takes its work seriously. We will not give you a bad week. That is not a tagline — it is a track record.

That said, some things are outside our control. Tommy Coconut Private Resorts is not liable for:

Acts of nature, weather, or island circumstances we could not have prevented
Illness, injury, or loss of personal property not caused by our negligence
Flight delays, cancellations, or travel disruptions
Third-party services that form part of the week — restaurants, dive operators, external vendors

We take responsibility for what is ours to take. We do not take it for the island.

9. Photography and Guest Content

We document estate common areas and shared experiences as part of ongoing operations. We do not photograph guests without their knowledge.

If you share photographs or testimonials publicly and tag Tommy Coconut Private Resorts, you grant us the right to share and attribute your content. You own everything you create.

Press, travel publications, and content creators with commercial intent: contact us before you arrive. Things go better that way.

10. Privacy

We collect only what we need to run your week well. We never sell your data. We share it only with the trusted processors that operate this site and our communications — analytics, email, scheduling.

11. Changes to These Terms

When these terms change, the date at the top changes. Material changes are communicated directly to guests with active reservations. Checking this page occasionally is worth two minutes of your time.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Curaçao, Kingdom of the Netherlands. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of Curaçao’s courts unless both parties agree otherwise in writing.
